The Town of North Hempstead is offering a free rain garden class next Saturday, September 24, at 10 am, at Clark Botanic Gardens (193 IU Willets Road, Albertson NY, 11507).

The class will be taught by landscape architect and raingarden expert Rusty Schmidt, and will educate residents about why and how to improve their property with rain gardens. All members of the public are invited to attend, but registration is required.
