After several discussions with PSE&G over the past several months about the power loss issues faced by our residents, we have been informed that the PSE&G Tree Trimming Crews will be working in the Village of Port Washington North. During the next 2-4 weeks, PSE&G crews will help ensure that our residents receive reliable power by conducting a full Circuit Trim, targeting the areas the Village has been specifically communicating about over the last few storms (Nor’easters).
We have been told that the crews trim trees only around our electric wires, which are always installed at the top of utility poles. After the trimming is completed, all tree debris will be removed. (For more information about our tree trimming and reliability work, please visit www.psegliny.com/reliability )
There are a few streets that have underground wires on this circuit, but will most certainly benefit from this circuit trim as the underground portion connects to the overhead areas that PSE&G will be trimming.
Affected customers on the below streets will be notified:
COW NECK RD
Underground portions that are a part of this circuit include:
SEA GULL LN
