On April 6, 2016, the Village of Port Washington North announced that Mr. Henry J. Consenza has decided to retire from his position as a Member of the Board of Zoning Appeals, a position he has held for the past 32 years. Mr. Consenza’s first year of service for the Village began in 1975 when he served as the Chairman of the Landmarks Preservation Commission. He served as a consultant to the Planning Board in 1977 which he joined as a Member in 1978. Then, in 1984, he began his service on the Board of Zoning Appeals. In recognition of his commitment to the Village and longevity of civil service to his community, Mayor Weitzner presented a proclamation declaring April 6th to be Henry J.
