05/2010	Town of North Hempstead next Stop Date June 5, 2010 The Town of North Hempstead STOP (Stop Throwing Out Pollutants) Program is next scheduled for Saturday, June 5 at the Solid Waste Management Authority (SWMA), 802 West Shore Road, Port Washington, NY. from 9am to 3pm. SWMA is located on Hempstead Harbor, south of Harbor Links. Use the southern entrance. NOTE: Pharmaceuticals are now being accepted at all quarterly STOP programs.

2-2008 New Online Village Calendar	The Village made a new online Google calendar of events including Meetings, Building Department schedule, election, street sweeping, court dates and more. The calendar is in early stages of development, but will be useful to all. Click here to view
Roof projects may require permit from the Village (1-07)	Based on changes to the NYS Building Codes, a new roof will need to follow new nailing patterns to meet a 110 mph wind conditions. Read here to see if your roof project will require a permit.
